The creative curriculum standards are used to implement content-rich developmentally appropriate programs, that support active learning. The children are taught in a relaxed family style atmosphere that also includes meals, a rest period and assistance in the initiation of potty-training.
Tuition is based on a sliding scale according to the family income. Financial assistance and some scholarships are available. Every teacher employed with PICDC must undergo specialized training and have completed course work specific to children from birth to age five. Staff ratios are excellent, and often exceeds the required guidelines. Our teachers provide a warm and nurturing environment to guide the little ones through the fundamental years.
